1.) How much time do you need?
We need at least 1 WEEK notice, preferably 3 WEEKS before an event. We are often are booked months in advance.
Please don't hesitate to call if you have a last minute order. The Sweetest Thing can work with you and if we can make it happen, we will!

Yes, with limitation.
3.) How do I order a cake, do I have to have a consultation?
I can handle all of your cake inquiry over the phone, via email or facebook messenger. If you give me an idea I could get back to you with images on the direction I think you want to go. Once that is done we can decide from there what details you wish to emphasize to make your cake personalized to you.
Alternatively you may also send photos of what you have in mind, inspirational patterns, colors or just a overall feel. If you are attempting to match a color I ask that you plan to leave a swatch with me if possible. Any type of design elements, cake toppers, sketches, or whatever you have it is always helpful. You can expect a very informal, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere while ordering your cake.
4.) How do you handle Food Allergies?
We are more than happy to cater to any special requirements you may have. We currently offer a wide variety of specialty products of this nature, and we recommend you contact us directly to talk about any special dietary requirements. I am happy to offer Vegan and Gluten free and nut free cakes however please understand the kitchen has been and will be exposed to nuts, eggs and dairy.
5.) Do you have any Cakes or Cupcakes that I can just come by and pick up?
We are not a retail location, and we ask that you make an order in advance. If you have a last minute order, don't hesitate to contact us, because often times we'll gladly accommodate your needs.
6.) Can I taste your Cake?
Absolutely. Tastings are complimentary for orders of $250 and above, and Wedding Consultations. You are welcome to try Four Flavor Combinations of your choice, as well as a sample of fondant if applicable. Tastings for smaller orders or additional flavor combinations may require a small tasting fee.
7.) What is your Cancellation Policy?
We require at least 1 WEEKS NOTICE to cancel an order. If we secure a date and time for you, that means that we are unable to accept any other orders for that corresponding time slot, we are also committing ourselves to take the necessary internal steps to complete your project. By cancelling your order, you are leaving us with an open slot that may not, and most likely will not, be filled by another order...not to mention the preparation, time spent, and potential work done on your project will need to be compensated for. For this reason, your deposit is unfortunately NOT REFUNDABLE, and we need to receive your cancellation request within our required time frame, or you will be required to pay for the full amount.
